Corpus Line

A healthy way to lose weight

Corpus Line is a capsule formulated to help achieve better management of body mass and – as a result – the overall health of the body.

Corpus Line is part of the Probio Style product line. The probiotics contained in our product help to better regulate the digestion of the foods consumed and thereby help reduce the fat mass present in the body.

Scientific studies have shown that the activity and composition of the microbiota are important factors to consider when it comes to weight loss. These factors also influence associated physical disorders, including atherosclerosis and insulin resistance, among others. In addition, administering a combination of several probiotic strains brings about a synergistic effect on weight loss in overweight individuals who are trying to reduce their body mass during a diet.

Corpus Line acts on several fronts. Probiotics help restore and re-enrich the diversity of the bacterial flora. As an insoluble fiber, the prebiotic helps improve intestinal regularity and increases the feeling of fullness. This product can help you maintain better control over your weight by helping you better manage the amount of food you consume.

The bacterial strains contained in Corpus Line – such as Lactobacillus gasseri and rhamnosus – have very important properties, as demonstrated by scientific studies.

For example, Lactobacillus rhamnosus taken daily over a period of 24 weeks has shown a significant reduction in the concentration of leptin in the blood and a significant reduction in body fat mass in obese women. This anti-obesity effect has also been confirmed in a meta-study that brought together results from animals and humans. In addition, this strain possesses the property of helping reduce the concentration of leptin in the blood.

Leptin (commonly referred to as the “fullness hormone”) is a peptide hormone that regulates the fat reserves in the body and the appetite by controlling the feeling of fullness. This hormone is generated by the white adipose tissue, which, in addition to its normal function of storing and mobilizing fatty acids, also has a very important endocrine role. Studies concerning this hormone have revealed that elevated leptin levels appear to be correlated with a greater risk of myocardial infarction and diabetes. It has already been identified as a powerful inhibitor of bone formation when present in large quantities.

Studies have shown that weight gain, body fat, and the levels of insulin and glucose in the blood are intimately associated with intestinal inflammation. This inflammation is harmful to the body. Certain bacteria and foods increase the risk of inflammation. Restoring the balance of the intestinal flora therefore helps reduce this risk and alleviate certain metabolic disorders associated with obesity.

The bioactive added to this product is Irvingia Gabonensis.  A scientific study has shown that an extract of this natural product reduces C-reactive protein levels, thus acting on the leptin resistance responsible for the failure of many diets and effectively promoting weight loss. This randomized double-blind, placebo-controlled study of 120 overweight human volunteers showed - among other results - a reduction in weight of 12.8%, in total cholesterol of 39.8%, and in blood sugar of 19.3%.
